Okavango Delta

The Okovango Delta in northern Botswana, is a large inland delta.

The seasonal rains bring lush greenery and with it an array of wildlife.

Tours from local operators are affordable and take you into the delta in wooden dugout boats (mokoros) where you might see locals fishing as they take you further out to spot hippos and elephants as well as an abundance of birdlife.

Group flights are affordable too and will take you over the delta where you can see herds of wildebeest and elephants strolling over the land.
